Welcome to the Oranmore/Maree Camogie Club Website
In early 2019, Oranmore/Maree GAA progressively leading the way as one of the first clubs in the
country to amalgamate the area’s three gaelic games clubs: Oranmore-Maree GAA,
Oranmore-Maree Camogie Club & Naomh Mhuire Ladies Football Club. Going forward the three clubs will be known as Oranmore-Maree GAA Clubs.
Oranmore Maree Camogie Club will continue to have their own Chairperson and autonomy, the
general administration of the clubs will come under Oranmore-Maree GAA Club. Each
sporting code will still have their own executive meetings to decide how their own sport runs day to day.
Our club, Oranmore-Maree Camogie is affiliated to the County Galway Camogie Board and fields teams from U6 to Senior grades under the guidelines of Cumann Camogaiochta na nGael's Code of Ethics and Good Practice in Childrens Sport. Our aim is to foster and promote the game of camogie and to create an environment where our members can achieve their full potential. The club has formed strong links with the Primary and Secondary schools in the parish while also welcoming adult members.
Oranmore / Maree is located approx. 10 miles south of Galway City. We use outdoor pitches and ball walls in both Oranmore and Maree with the fantastic Indoor astro-turf Arena at Maree Community Centre.
We are delighted to partner with our main Sponsor, Basilico Restaurant, in the heart of Oranmore village and we encourage all our members to support them.
